I am a biologist working on animal behavior with a focus on animal cognition, social behavior, and communication.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and my Ph.D. from Princeton University. Between my degrees, I was a visiting scientist and a research associate at NASA Ames Research Center & SETI Institute.
